The Danbury models of camper were all fitted with a pop top type of roof, most had a red and white striped flat sided bellows, inside were tags to locate a flat elastic that runs all around the bellows.
There were a couple of models but all have triangular spring loaded side supports to aid in lifting the roof, to hold the roof up there are four rods that hinge down from the fibreglass roof and locate on top of the van roof either in holes or in a clevis on earlier models.
The bellows is attached at the bottom by flat strips of aluminium riveted to the van roof and at the top by tacks into the fibreglass pop top, these are then covered by a vinyl finishing strip.
